Here’s how we recently discovered the secret to feeling motivated to clear decades of clutter, even when you feel stuck or overwhelmed…

...and why organizing alongside others at set times is the key to clearing more clutter in just one month than you have (on your own) in years!

My goal is to make organizing as quick & easy as possible for you...

From: Alejandra Costello
Purcellville, Virginia

Dear Friend,

If you’re on this page, I’m guessing you’ve already read the books, watched the videos, and gone down the Pinterest rabbit hole, but are still feeling frustrated with your clutter… maybe even a little depressed.

The truth is, consuming more information isn’t what you need. You already know enough to get started. It’s time to trust yourself.

However, if you want everything to have a home, find things faster, and enjoy clutter-free surfaces, here are the three pillars you need:

  1. Less thinking, more doing.
  2. Less distraction, more focus.
  3. Less isolation, more community.

When you combine these three pillars, you’ll go from ‘hopeless’ to ‘hopeful’ and finally start making progress.

As an organizing coach for 14 years, I’ve had the privilege to work with all types of people – beginners, creatives, people with ADHD, people who are emotionally attached, and homeowners with decades of clutter.

Likewise, I’ve had the privilege to share my work in over 50+ media outlets around the world including Good Morning America, HGTV, The New York Times, Psychology Today, Real Simple, GoodHousekeeping, and others.

And since 2008, my goal has always been the same – to make organizing FASTER & EASIER for you. And maybe even more fun 🙂

And thanks to the brand new community we’ve created called TeamOrganize, which combines all three pillars, more and more people are finally clearing the clutter & making space for what matters most.

Wherever you are in life – single / divorced, a parent with young kids, an empty-nester, or you’re enjoying retirement, this groundbreaking method will help you get organized, GUARANTEED. It’s already working for 1000+ members and it will work for you too.

Organizing is hard.
You don't have to do it alone!

Let’s be honest.

Organizing is hard. Staying organized is harder.

From feeling stuck to procrastinating, it can be difficult to find motivation to start a project and see it through to completion.

Let alone, keep up with the never-ending dishes and laundry.

If you can relate to this, that means you’re normal!

But it’s not your fault if you’re struggling to keep up with everything. We live in a society where the more stuff we own, the higher our perceived worth. We’re surrounded by constant messages saying we’re not good enough, smart enough, attractive enough, thin enough, etc..

And the solution is to buy, buy, buy. Own more, do more, be more.

And so our houses become filled with possessions that once promised to make us better. To make us happier. To fulfill us.

Organizing is hard.
Organizing is hard.

But never did (because this is a big lie!).

Instead, we’re left with jam-packed closets and overwhelming piles of clutter. And as we all know, the more stuff we own, the more stuff we need to organize & maintain – both of which pulls us away from the things we rather do.

And so we embark on a decluttering journey to simplify and make our lives easier. The problem then becomes getting ourselves to let go…

My first video shoot for my organizing channel on YouTube! (2011)

When we try to let go, we’re faced with one dilemma after another:

“But what if I need this someday?”
“But I spent a lot of money on this”
“But a loved one gave this to me”
“But it’s sentimental”

And so we get stuck and never make a dent in the clutter.

Sound familiar?

Before I share with you the brand new faster and easier approach for getting organized that’s been working for 1000+ people since the pandemic started, let me tell you how my own struggle with anxiety and depression led me to master organizing on my own.

Hello, I’m Alejandra Costello, the co-founder of TeamOrganize, the #1 community for clearing the clutter and getting organized alongside others.

I’ve been helping people get organized for 14 years. Most people know me from my creative organizing channel on YouTube that quickly grew to a million subscribers and 100,000,000+ video views.

While I’ve been named “The Decluttering Queen” by Good Morning America and “One of the Most Organized People in America” by HGTV…

I haven’t always been organized. In fact, one of my nicknames growing up was “pig”.

As a kid, I was always seeking comfort and safety as I often felt anxious and depressed.

At school, I was always a slow visual learner who struggled to read and write. In gym class, I was always the shortest, slowest, last picked person. And with classmates, I was always the shy awkward computer girl who was teased for my big nose.

I found my comfort and safety in organizing my room. Organizing numbed the pain.

Starting at age 12, I would rearrange my bedroom almost monthly. I’d reorganize my craft bin under my bed regularly. And if you hired me to babysit, you’d always come home to a clean sink and an organized playroom.

When I went to Virginia Tech, my dorm room was neat & tidy, I always had an organized to-do list, and hallmates would tell you I often stayed home on Friday nights just to clean.

But there were also times when my room was a mess…

Though you couldn’t tell from the outside, I know depression and anxiety all too well.

My organized color-coded bedroom from high school (1998)

When the depression showed up, chores often got abandoned. My room looked like a tornado went through it – piles of clothes on the floor, bed unmade, messy backpack/binder, nothing put back. Hence the nickname “pig”.

If you know what depression feels like, you know the smallest things feel impossible to do. And so things don’t always get done. Before you know it, it’s easy to feel completely off track. The shame of it all keeps you out of the game.

It wasn’t until the mess became so uncomfortable that I was motivated to get back on track. The vicious all-or-nothing cycle (messy / organized) can be difficult to break-free from without effective tools and strategies.

A holiday party at my corporate IT job (2008)

My depression and anxiety continued in my 20s as I transitioned from college to adulthood, moved to my first apartment, started my first romantic relationship (with my now-husband, Ed), and started a stressful corporate job as an IT auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Thus, I became really good at organizing as an outlet for finding calm when things felt chaotic.

It was the end of 2007 when I realized I had a real passion for organizing. Not only had I become good at it (and loved to do it), but it helped me feel calm and centered. I wasn’t anxious about tomorrow. I wasn’t depressed about yesterday. Instead, I was present, in the moment, channeling my creativity to help my future self become more productive.

Likewise, I quickly learned that other people needed help getting organized. Little did I know at the time, but the combination of finding something you’re good at, that you love to do, that other people need, and that you can make a living from, is a recipe for success that the Japanese call IKIGAI. It was a couple months later that Ed and I decided to start our organizing business, which would forever impact our lives and the lives we were helping.

While entrepreneurship has been a wild ride of ups and downs, starting a business 14 years ago has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It’s led me to share my gifts with the world while also leading me on a healing journey to discover my truest, most authentic self.

Fast forward to today, I still love to organize as much as I did when I was younger! However, I now see organizing differently. What was once an outlet to numb pain is now an essential way of living so I can focus on what matters most.

While I’ll always be managing my mental health, I’ve found that one of the keys to taking care of myself is owning a reasonable amount of possessions combined with having effective organizing systems in place – both of which make keeping up with things easier to do when life feels hard.

In the hard moments of life, the last thing we need is to shuffle through endless piles of clutter. Clutter just adds an extra layer of “pain” on top of the existing pain of whatever else is going on in our lives. While we can’t always control what happens to us in life, we can control the clutter…

Which brings me to today and the effective method I accidentally discovered for quickly and easily controlling the clutter in your home even if you feel completely overwhelmed and unmotivated!

The method I discovered is one that works for anyone. And for anything in your home. And it works every time…

Helping my friend Maria organize her closet! (2012)

are you ready to get organized together?

Let’s be honest.

It can be hard to get organized on our own.

From interruptions to distractions to getting in our own way, it can be difficult to focus and see a project through to completion.

Even more so right now with everything going on…

What is certain is that having support, accountability, and community makes organizing a LOT easier.

That’s why we created the TeamOrganize community!

To offer organizing support, guidance, and accountability so we can take back our homes…

…and ultimately take back our lives.

I’ve mastered organizing on my own, not only as a way to feel calm inside and out, but also as a way to laser-focus on what’s important in my life.

I’d like to guide you down a similar path so you too can experience the joys of being clutter-free.

Below I’ve outlined what I think you need to easily jump in and start seeing quick results.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying to get organized for years or if you’re just getting started for the first time. No need to overthink it.

What you need right now is to just show up. You’re right on time.

Can A Method I Accidentally Discovered Help You Get Organized Faster & Easier... Even If You Feel Completely Overwhelmed & Unmotivated?

Me feeling less than enthusiastic about doing the dishes on a cold winter evening!!!! (2022)

The short answer is yes!

But let me share the details with you in just a bit.

Despite the fact that I’ve become great at organizing… I’m still no different from you.

I still have messes, still have endless laundry and dishes, and still have days where I don’t feel like doing a single thing!

If you can relate to this, this makes us human!

And while tidying up isn’t the most enjoyable task; it is our responsibility to take the mess into our own hands…

Which is why I’m sharing a brand new method that I accidentally stumbled upon when the pandemic started that works for people who desperately want to clear the clutter… but feel overwhelmed and unmotivated.

And it’s quickly became the most effective thing I’ve ever seen in 14 years of helping people get organized since nothing quite like this has ever existed before.

Here’s what happened…

When the pandemic started, I felt called to show up to our community like I’ve never shown up before. After all, the world was in chaos and leaders were needed like never before.

And so one day in March 2020 I put out an email to our community inviting people to join me for 8 live “work-along” organizing sessions so we could all organize together while staying home during lockdown.

The cost was “pay what you want” and we committed to donating 10% of all sales to Feeding America as a way to give back.

People started to join. And then more people started to join.

Before we knew it, we had hundreds of people registered to declutter and organize live alongside others…

We put together a schedule with dedicated set times to meet that would allow people to stop worrying about when they would get their chores done and instead simply show up for the appointment and easily get started without hesitation.

We met frequently and worked in timed segments which offered a structure for staying focused, on track, and getting things done.

We shared the microphone so people could proudly share their wins, progress, and updates, and be celebrated among a kind, encouraging, positive, and supportive community.

We gave people space to ask questions and talk out the overwhelm so I could offer strategies, ideas, and guidance for easily taking the next step.

The list of people who joined our live "work-along" organizing sessions when the pandemic started! We kept adding names as people joined until we ran out of space! (2020)

We created a private place for non-judgmental people to work in small groups so they could collaborate with others and work toward a common goal.

We offered on-demand videos, available at anytime, so people could find their motivation in between our live sessions.

In short, we created the first and only online organizing community where you can actually get organized, live, alongside others while clearly seeing you’re not alone, allowing you to make progress faster & easier than ever before.

We named the community TeamOrganize…

And I'm happy to report that this groundbreaking method is working for over 1,000+ members all over the world making TeamOrganize the #1 community for organizing alongside others.

When you join today, you’ll have access to ALL sessions listed above. You can attend as much or as little as you’d like. Just like a gym’s schedule of all available classes, we don’t expect that you’ll be able to attend every session. That’s why you’ll have access to the replays of all sessions from the last 30 days in your online account for streaming or download. We also provide an easy method to easily import the monthly schedule into your digital calendar.

TeamOrganize is a membership community with a uniquely structured format that helps you get organized through live ‘work-along’ organizing sessions that are frequently scheduled at set-times, accessible & qualified support from expert coaches in the industry, and encouraging community to organize alongside with so you stay motivated and never feel alone.

All of us start at the beginning. To get to the top of the stairs means to take the first step. Take the first step and the next step is always revealed.

TeamOrganize is for anyone who has the desire to get organized – beginners included! Often what happens when a person (often a beginner) decides to get organized is they immediately feel overwhelmed by everything they need to do, have trouble making decisions, and as a result, end up procrastinating.

By joining TeamOrganize, you’ll have access to expert guidance and support to help you break down the overwhelming projects into doable tasks, accountability to keep you focused and on track, and a non-judgmental community to encourage you to keep going.

If you’re just getting started with organizing, the most important thing you can do is simply show up to a session and let the positive energy of our group inspire you to take action! You won’t regret it.

If you decide TeamOrganize isn’t right for you, simply cancel your membership within 7 days of joining to receive a full refund. No questions asked. After the first 7 days, cancelling your membership will stop future renewals. However, your request must be received at least two full business days in advance of your renewal date to allow enough time for processing.

If you want to change the renewal frequency for your TeamOrganize membership, you can do so within 7 days of joining.

After the first 7 days of joining a monthly plan, you can switch your monthly plan to a semi-annual plan at your next renewal date (next month).

After the first 7 days of joining a semi-annual plan, you can switch your semi-annual plan to a monthly plan at your next renewal date (in 6 months).

All plans can be cancelled within 7 days for a full refund. No questions asked.

Only you can answer! But our hope is that TeamOrganize will help you consistently maintain all of your lovely organizing systems! I’ve mastered organizing myself but I know that even the most organized people have messes. It’s part of being human and happens when there are competing priorities. TeamOrganize makes it fun to get organized alongside others, no matter where you are in your journey!

Question: how much is being disorganized costing you in the sense of…

Financially – buying duplicates, expiring foods, storage unit fees, late fees

Physically – tripping over clutter, safety hazards

Mentally – blaming and shaming yourself

Emotionally – stress, guilt, arguments with loved ones, anger / frustration

It costs MORE to live with disorganization!

Even if you’ve tried a million other ways to get organized in the past, what if this time was different in that you actually saw results?

How much is that worth to you? Not just financially but physically, emotionally, and mentally?

If the answer is MORE than the cost of joining, than it’s a no brainer.

If you feel like you don’t have time to organize… read on.

Lack of time is rarely the “real” problem. It’s a real problem for ~5% of people. For most people, the bigger issue is HOW they spend their time!

How much time are you wasting on a daily basis due to disorganization (searching for items, being inefficient, getting distracted by clutter, getting into arguments about the mess, etc.)?

Spending time getting organized NOW will give you back your precious time LATER when you’re able to find things faster, tidying up is easier, and overall, you’re more effective!

Okay, so failure is inevitable. You should expect to fail. We all fail at some point.

While failure is inevitable, your failure is likely in the organizing process you’re following NOT you. To that I will say, keep going and be open to doing things differently while getting qualified support.

It’s also important to remember all the times you’ve overcome failure in your life – learning to walk, talk, drive, ride a bike, use the bathroom, swim, etc. Failure comes before success. This makes you human. Learn to take a break but don’t quit. You’ll get there as long as you keep going.

From one “overthinker” to another – if you’re afraid of making the “wrong” decision – give yourself the gift of releasing the massive pressure and expectation to make the “right decision” the first time around.

A photographer takes hundreds of photos before they find the “one.”

Likewise, a professional organizer tries many organizing systems before they settle on what works best!

What’s great about making a “wrong” decision (in anything) is that you get certainty on what doesn’t work. In other words, you get data. With that certainty (or data), there is opportunity for growth enabling you to make a more educated decision the next time around.

But who knows, you may actually make the right decision the first time around (which is also growth!). Both paths (right or wrong) offer some kind of growth or certainty!

The only place you don’t grow is being on the fence. The fence offers uncertainty + stagnation. And nobody enjoys the feeling of stagnation 🙂

Whether you decide to join TeamOrganize or not, know that we have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, so you can try TeamOrganize to make sure it’s right for you. If it’s not, then just let us know within 7 days for a full refund (no questions asked). We are happy when you are happy!

The fastest way to clear clutter is to hire a crew. The average cost of this is around $50-$200 / hour per organizer. And even with this expensive option, you’ll still have to make a handful of tough decisions!

The next fastest way to see results is to take action yourself while having expert support, accountability, and a community of like-minded folks to encourage you along the way. TeamOrganize is designed just for that! While it’s possible to get lightning fast results, that’s not the point.

What matters more is the lasting change you create. And whether that happens in one day or one month, when you look back 5 years from now, will it matter the speed in which it happened? NO!

If you want lasting lifetime results, TeamOrganize is for you.

If you’re feeling skeptical about joining, don’t believe me and see for yourself.

When you join TeamOrganize, you have 7 days to try it and make sure it’s right for you. If it’s not, then just let us know within 7 days for a full refund – no questions asked.

If not now, then when?

It’s easy to delay decluttering when you don’t have a deadline. However, it’s less stressful to declutter NOW while you don’t have the pressure of a due date.

Decluttering immediately before or during a stressful situation (like moving, unexpected disasters, an upcoming surgery, clearing a path for a repair person, calling 911) just adds an extra layer of stress to an already stressful situation.

On the other hand, someone will inevitably have to declutter every single item from your home. It’s just a matter of time for all of us. The question is, who? And deep down do you really want to pass the physical and emotional burden onto this person?

Clearing a house is hard. Clearing a cluttered house is even harder.

TeamOrganize’s uniquely structured format will give you the support, focus, accountability, motivation, and community you need to get started today and start seeing results!
